Spreading Awareness About Mental Illness by Joining the ‘Bell Let’s Talk Day’ Initiative

Did you know that by adolescence, an estimated one in five, or 1.2 million, children and youth in Canada are affected by mental illness? Given this alarming statistic, when it comes to mental health, every action counts!

To help raise awareness and funding to combat mental illness, Bell Canada is instituting its 10th edition of “Bell Let’s Talk Day”, on January 29th.

The campaign is the largest corporate mental health initiative in the country and through it, Bell pledges to donate 5¢ for every:

  • Call and text made on a Bell phone plan
  • Every Snapchat filter
  • Instagram or YouTube view
  • Facebook photo frame and Twitter hashtag used, regardless of which device or plan it’s made with

So, let’s make a difference in 2020 by being mindful of our mental health and take steps towards spreading awareness. Join the #BellLetsTalk campaign to make a difference.
