As a motivational speaker, I talk a lot about managing stress, finding work-life balance, practicing mindfulness, and working to create a happier and healthier you!
One of my key messages when I speak about these topics is to “take YOUR 30 minutes.” Read my blog “The 30 Minute Rule” for the full scoop!
For me, taking some time out of each and every day gives me something to look forward to, especially when it is one of those days when my back and neck start to tighten, and my breathing becomes shallow.
Your 30 minutes may not look like my 30 minutes – and that’s okay! You need to do the things that help you de-stress, refocus, and revitalize. But for the month of May, I want to encourage you to take your 30 minutes outside.
This can be as easy as going for a walk in your neighbourhood or sitting in your backyard. Nature isn’t a travel destination in a far away place – it’s right in your backyard. Any green space counts as nature and can be found in your garden, neighbourhood park, or local walking trail. These beautiful green spaces are often just a short diversion from your daily route.
I’ll be sharing updates about my 30 minutes on my Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and I want you to do the same.
In fact, how about we make this interesting?
Using the hashtag #May30for30, share a photo or make a comment about your 30 minutes outside, and I’ll choose a winner at random at the end of the month. The more you share, the better chance you’ll have to win!
Bonus points for whoever also uses the hashtag #BringItOn along with #May30for30.
The lucky winner will receive a 30-minute private coaching call with me about any topic you’d like! We can talk about managing stress, work-life balance, practicing mindfulness, or whatever you feel like chatting about.
I can’t wait to share this experience with you – see you outside!
