Trying to Play

Set off in the van this morning for the golf course all geared up to conquer the game. While driving on the highway I couldn’t help but notice an odd noise coming from somewhere in the vehicle. Of course I was in deep prayer that the noise was part of the radio program I was tuned into. No such luck. Often in these cases the remedy is to turn the radio up and open the window. That will usually solve anything. That didn’t work either. The noise got louder.

I exited the highway and on to a side street, got out of the van and down on the ground to observe part of the underbelly of the vehicle was hanging down and had obviously been dragging on the pavement. That can’t be good. The cold slap of reality hit…no golf…get the van into the shop…be without any wheels for the balance of the day. Turns out it was the Heat Shield that covers the exhaust pipe. Wow. I didn’t even know I had a Heat Shield. I’m a perimenopausal woman and I could really use a Heat Shield in my life. If I had access to a Heat Shield then maybe my family wouldn’t have to wear a ski jacket while in the home all year round. I think I’m on to something here. This is an inspirational moment and I will keep you all posted about the many potential uses for a Menopausal Heat Shield.
